WELCOME all you fans of the unusual. I love to make things out of objects you'd normally throw away. Have you ever seen a wallet, purse, book-bag, or belt made from those juice bags the kids sip on. Would you have ever thought of carrying a 'book-purse', or a 'jean hand bag'. Well these are the type of things I like to make, odd but practical. Come and see for your self. I am a seamstress and construct garments as well as other items as above. Quilting and now oil painting are a few more of my passions.
COLOR, COLOR, COLOR, is what I like. Tasteful but colorful things brightens ones spirit. God has created some beauty in color, and that is what my items are colorful. The one of a kind items are created with love and care. I put my soul into everything I make. I thank God for His hand in mine, giving me the gift of crafting.

EXPERIENCE
SEWING for more than 43 years, and still learning. Every project is a one of a kind for it is not mass produced. Sewing is a skill and I am proud that I have been blessed with such. I was taught by my grandmother's aunt, who was a Home-Economic teacher and her brother was a tailor, so I was instructed by the best. For years I have been constructing garments for my children, family, friends, church choirs, and many other groups and individuals. I take pride in every stitch I make, weither it be by hand or a sewing machine. Thank God for the ability to be creative.

GARMENT CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PROVIDED
I provide services in the following: Garment construction and alterations. Garment construction consists of constructing garments from material you provide and by the pattern you have selected. The process consists of taking your measurements, cutting, sewing, fittings. Depending on the garment, there may be more than one fitting requied. Appointments will be made according to your schedule. If you do not know exactly what you are looking for, I have pattern books available.
SOME TIMES the process of selecting pattern and material and the notions required to complete the garment, may be a little overwheliming. I do provide a shopping service where I go with you to help you in your correct purchases. Any thing to make your experience easy and positive. I usually shop at JoAnn's etc.http://www.Jo Ann.com, which is a very good place to shop for patterns and material. You can also go on line and look to see what is available there.

HOW GARMENTS ARE MADE
THE garments and other items you see, were made by either sewing machine, serger, by hand or all three. A serger is used on all seams giving them a "store-bought" finish. Sewing machines are used to make the garment. If there are any special beading required on any garment or item, it is usually done by hand. All garments and items are constructed to last.

ORDERING GARMENT OR ITEMS
IF you are interested in the items you have seen you may order by phone or e-mail. Ordering by phone is faster, because your order can be discussed with you. Prices will be quoted to you over the phone. Payment may be made by cash, check, or money order. There is a required deposit on all garment construction.
